Nanovector S.r.l. study nanostructured lipid systems that carry drugs (but also active ingredients used in cosmetic or nutritional field) to bring them exactly where they should arrive. The method allows better absorption by the body, to facilitate passage of physiological barriers, to make more persistent effect of the drug over time, to increase efficacy and reduce side effects.

Nanovector has developed deep knowledge on lipid based colloidal systems, like microemulsions, solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN), nanoemulsion and liposomes, with application in therapeutics, diagnostic, nutrition and cosmetics. As CRO service they perform feasibility studies, formulation developments and manufacturing of prototypes (sterile on request), as well as physico-chemical characterisation for stability studies.
